Dear Parishioners,


I received the sad news that Monsignor Thomas Owens, Pastor Emeritus of Saint Alphonsus Parish, died last evening.  I ask you to join me in praying for the happy repose of his soul and for the peace and consolation of his family.  Monsignor Owens was ordained a priest in 1974 and served our parish from 2002-2013.  May the Lord grant him eternal rest and bless him for his faithful and generous service to our parish and to all those he served throughout his priestly life.

Arrangements are still being made by Monsignor’s family, and I will share them with you once they are finalized.
