Thank you to everyone who participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service! We had an excellent turnout and were able to give over 100 cards and letters to the local nursing homes, and to the service men and women of our country! In addition, thank you for your generosity in picking up over 60 casserole pans to make dinners for the people at St. John’s Hospice! Your charity is greatly appreciated. Please pray for all those who will receive these generous offerings.

Please join us in praying for the happy repose of the soul of His Holiness Benedict XVI. He was an extraordinarily humble and good man who faithfully served the Church for over 70 years. May our Lord welcome him to the eternal banquet of heaven. This past weekend we prayed for the Pope Emeritus at each of our Masses, with the Noon Mass offered for his intention. This Thursday the Holy Father will celebrate his funeral Mass in Saint Peter’s Square at 3:30 am EST. You may view his funeral Mass live at that time or later recorded by clicking the title above. This webpage also contains other information, including a link to his Spiritual Testament. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace!
