Pre-Cana, is a class designed to prepare engaged couples to lovingly live out the Sacrament of Matrimony. Within an informal, engaging atmosphere, married couples from St. Alphonsus impart advice, techniques, and insights that enable the engaged couples to enhance their mutual understanding, facilitate communication, deepen their love, nurture their faith, and appreciate the responsibilities to which a lifetime commitment of marriage calls them. The classes are held twice a year and are required for couples planning a wedding. There is a $150 registration fee to be made out to Saint Alphonsus Parish.
Our Fall session is scheduled on
Friday (October 27th) evening and Saturday (October 28th).
Friday evening is an informal social hour to get to know the married and soon-to-be married couples participating and typically lasts from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Saturday's session is from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and includes discussions, and interactive sessions to help engaged couples with a deeper understanding of marriage and each other.
